A SPACE TO GATHER IN COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Many people are moving through a time when they know something has come to an end, but can’t yet see what comes next. Old identities, old ways of being, old stories and old systems no longer fit, yet the shape of what comes next remains unknown.
Our instinct is often to reach for answers, to find a solution. To make a plan. To fix. To know.
But what if this moment is asking something different of us?
What if, instead of rushing towards certainty, we slowed down enough to sit together in the discomfort of not knowing? To remember that we are interconnected. To trust that something new doesn’t emerge because we control it or chase it, but because we create space for it together.
This month’s Living Ancestors gathering is an invitation into that practice.
There will be no ‘expert’ with solutions or answers, no blueprint for the future. Instead, we’ll gather in community, in conversation and in silence, exploring what becomes possible when we resist the urge to solve, and instead accompany one another through the uncertainty.
We do not gather to find the answers. We gather to make space for what wants to emerge.

What to expect:
We will begin with a short meditation and a simple prayer to the ancestors – a remembering that we are part of a larger story than this moment.
There will be guided journaling prompts, followed by shared reflection.
No fixing.
No advice.
No performance.
No pressure to speak.
Silence is welcome.
So are stories, tears, songs.
What you will need:
• A quiet, cosy space where you will be uninterrupted
• A journal and a pen
• Cacao, tea, water – whatever feels right for you
• Optional: light a candle and take 10 minutes to arrive before we begin.
